jessica latham

INFINITY DANCE TEACHER

Jessica started dancing from the young age of 3 at a dance school in Crosby where she gained many ISTD exams and competed in competitions such as Janet Cram. She was a part of the English National Ballet Company and the Liverpool Empire Youth Theatre company for many years where she got to take part in shows such as Coppelia, West Side Story and Cats as a child. 

 

After school she attended LIPA Sixth Form College where she gained A levels in Dance Theatre achieving three A*. From there she attended university for a further three years, where she studied her Degree in Dance at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, a very reputable institution with a small intake. Best known for being Sir Paul McCartney’s institution. 

 

Since then she began her career as a teacher, she decided to broaden her learning further and has recently been working towards her DDE teacher training in the ISTD curriculum and syllabi in Tap and Modern Theatre. She now teaches in several prestigious dance schools and academic schools across Liverpool and Cheshire. She is always looking to grow as a professional and aims to continue to gain more qualifications over the years. 

 

Jessica also works as a teaching assistant in a school, working with SEN children. She has always had a passion for working with children, supporting them to achieve their goals and find their individuality and creativity. Jessica teaches weekly Jazz and lyrical lessons at Infinity.
